Bring the Movement to Your Book Club

About the Book

A Pot to P*ss In is a bold memoir by Sagashus Levingston—a mother of six who dared to build a life of legacy, wealth, and freedom, even when the world told her she had nothing.

It’s a story of motherhood, money, sex, leadership, housing, trauma, and transformation. Personal yet deeply relatable, it reflects the lives of women who are often overlooked and judged the most.

Book clubs choose A Pot to Piss In for the story—but stay for the conversations. It’s a book that sparks truth-telling, healing, and powerful dialogue about who we are and what we’re building.

This isn’t just a book to read. It’s one to live through—together.

The Founding Circle - Book Club Edition Is About Shifting Culture

The Founding Circle – Book Club Edition is about recognizing the power of book clubs—and tapping into that collective force to spark a cultural shift.

Across history, book clubs have functioned as more than reading spaces. They’ve been salons, strategy rooms, healing circles, and sites of cultural disruption. They’re where people gather to wrestle with truth, name what’s been buried, and imagine what’s possible. That kind of gathering has always been revolutionary.

This Founding Circle – Book Club Edition is an intentional effort to harness that energy. By partnering with clubs across the country, we’re building a network of readers who aren’t just turning pages—they’re becoming part of a movement to turn the tide on how we talk about motherhood, money, trauma, ambition, healing, and power.

About the Author

I’m Dr. Sagashus Levingston—a mother of six, a PhD, and a woman who had to figure it out while everything felt like it was falling apart.

I’m Dr. Sagashus Levingston—a mother of six, a PhD, and a woman who had to figure it out while everything felt like it was falling apart.

When I wrote A Pot to P*ss In, I imagined it being read in book clubs everywhere—especially those centered on entrepreneurship, motherhood, leadership, success, money, and Black women. I envisioned it being discussed in intimate living rooms and large community gatherings alike, where real stories spark real conversation.

This book was created to be part of the literary and cultural ecosystem that book clubs help build—one where truth, strategy, and sisterhood meet. It’s a story I needed, and one I wrote for the women and communities I serve who are navigating similar truths every day.
