It’s Not an Exercise…It’s a Mindset Movement.

Bad Girl Fit FAQs

  1. Why is this health and wellness campaign called Bad Girl Fit?

At Infamous Mothers, we love to play on words and explore their dual meanings. Like so many of the other titles and names that come from our brand, Bad Girl Fit is layered. For example, we are playing with the word bad as a way to call out to the women  we are looking to attract: the bad girls of the mothering world. These include women who mother on their own terms, are ambitious, break cycles, trailblaze and accomplish the impossible, defying convention and naysayers. These women are badasses. And while they may be “villains” in some people’s stories, they are heroes in their own. Next, we are playing with “fit” and its different meanings. This campaign is about acceptance, being “good enough,” “suitable” and “relevant” in your own eyes. It’s about mental shifts that can lead to an overall healthier lifestyle.

  2. Why is Bad Girl Fit called a “mindset movement?”

We’ve learned from personal experience, practice and interviews with women that health and wellness is often a state of mind before it’s a physical expression. For this reason, Bad Girl Fit is a campaign that centers reflection through journaling. It’s deceptively simple in that it won’t require you to sweat or travel or even move. In fact, at times, our challenges may be even more difficult because at times we are inviting you to rest and breathe when your schedule and the demands of your life may convince you that even a five-minute break may be too much. At other times, we are inviting you to be honest with yourself about things that you may not be ready to admit or that you may be considering for the first time. We call it a mindset movement for many reasons, but mainly because our goal is to help 10,000 women around the world shift their mindset around mothering, health and wealth.

  3. Why is Bad Girl Fit an email campaign?

The creator of Bad Girl Fit, Dr. Sagashus Levingston, through her own health and wellness journey has learned the importance of quieting noise. A major source of that noise comes from the voices in our head, social media, and the need for approval from others— which is not the same as support and accountability. Bad Girl Fit is a quiet and personal journey inviting you to build a stronger relationship with yourself first. It’s exclusive in that it requires you to show up for yourself for seven days. It invites you to check your email, reflect and follow through with the daily challenges. Our hope is that you will complete the campaign with more confidence in your ability to reclaim your health and wellness.

  4. Why did you create Bad Girl Fit?

Dr. Sagashus Levingston created Bad Girl Fit for the following reasons:

  • women she encountered was feeling out of place in traditional health and wellness spaces and discussions

  • her clients were sacrificing their health journeys for their wealth journeys

  • her wellness clients needed a “pre-program” before they began the more intense work of Covet: The “Disrespectful” Health and Wellness program

Over the years, Bad Girl Fit has gone through different iterations. The current version is in response to the need for something shorter and less rigorous but still challenging.
