The Dr. Amy Gannon Pay-It-Forward Program

Introducing the game-changing Dr. Amy Gannon Pay-It Forward Program, dedicated to supporting women who mother on their own terms while also solving problems through business. Inspired by the one-of-a-kind relationship between Drs. Amy and Sagashus, this approach to coaching + programming is all about sisterhood, realizing ‘impossible” entrepreneurial dreams, and paying it forward.

Championing Change: Infamous Mothers' Tribute to Dr. Amy Gannon's Legacy

Dr. Amy Gannon never hesitated to view Infamous Mothers as a brand and company that challenged the status quo. She recognized our work as disruptive, innovative, and one that reshapes the rules. She understood that we weren't rebelling for the sake of rebellion. Instead, we were doing the necessary work to ensure that those denied access to tables either had a seat or possessed the tools to build their own. The Pay-It-Forward program pays tribute to her belief in our ability to be among those altering the way women experience business, offering solutions to the world, and making their presence felt in spaces. It's our way of honoring her memory, legacy, and her belief in our ability to create an impact.

Amy & Sagashus: The Story Behind the Pay-It-Forward Program

For Dr. Sagashus, Dr. Amy Gannon's role transcended that of a mere business coach; she became a symbol of hope, a mentor, and a catalyst for transformation. They met at a time when Sagashus was juggling single motherhood, the pursuit of a Ph.D., grappling with financial hardships, and the ambition to convert research into a viable business. Amy's presence became pivotal.

Together with her co-founder, Heather Wentler, they created and built Doyenne—a visionary platform that aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs.

Amy's involvement in Sagashus’s life extended far beyond conventional business strategies; she  became a part of her family, dismantled financial barriers, and advocated for dreams in inaccessible spaces. Because of this relationship, Infamous Mothers, the company founded by Sagashus not only thrives today, it soars.

In a tragic turn of events in 2019, Amy and her daughter, Jocelyn, were lost in a helicopter crash. To preserve Amy's legacy and the profound impact she left, the Pay-It-Forward program was born. Sponsored by Michael Gannon, Amy's husband, the program aimed to reproduce the essence, dynamic and impact of business relationship that turned into a sisterhood.

This initiative strives to deliver top-tier coaching + programming without financial barriers. After 12 months of dedicated collaboration, participants who generate over $100k in profit contribute back by covering program costs for the subsequent cohort. The program's mission? Eradicate financial barriers, cultivate a sisterhood, and nurture both independence and interdependence.

At the core of this initiative lie both articulated and underlying values that mirrored the dynamic between Amy and Sagashus:

  • The distinction between a mother's professional and personal life is blurred.

  • Every experience, even the challenging ones, holds value.

  • Transformation for women necessitates a holistic shift in their surrounding ecosystem.

  • Our success is intricately linked, fostering interdependence among us.

  • Empowering women encompasses contributing with your resources, networks, and expertise.

Through the Pay-It-Forward program, we pay homage to the essence of Amy and Sagashus's relationship by replicating its various iterations within Sagashus, her team, and each new cohort.
